Ubidecarenone 30 mg
CoQ10 is a vitamin-like substance from ubiquinon family found throughout the body in every cell mitochondria where it is needed to generate energy. The highest concentrations of CoQ10 are where we need the most energy – the heart, immune system, liver and kidneys. It exists in moderate amounts in meat, poultry and fish and in even smaller amounts in nuts, fruits and vegetables.
The human body can naturally make CoQ10. However, CoQ10 levels decrease with age so as we get older, supplementation with CoQ10 becomes important. Smoking uses up the body’s store of co-enzyme Q10 too. People with certain diseases, such as congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, periodontal diseases, Parkinson’s disease, cancer, diabetes, certain muscular diseases, and AIDS, have lower levels of co-enzyme Q10.
Boost energy: Co-enzyme Q10 has important role in producing ATP so it can enhance exercise tolerance.
– Powerful antioxidant: It protects cell membranes against free radicals, Anti-aging.
– Strengthen the immune system
– Some Studies showed that CoQ10 could be a beneficial nutrient for heart function and help people with congestive heart failure (CHF), chest pain (angina), high blood pressure. It is also used for diabetes, gum disease, breast cancer, Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, muscular dystrophy, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), and Lyme disease.
– Certain cholesterol-lowering drugs (statins) are known to inhibit the body’s natural production of CoQ10, so supplementation is often recommended for statin users to help replenish CoQ10 levels.
